Uniform Dates:

  • August 17th - First Day of School - Wear Uniform to school 
    • Shell, skirt, white socks and white shoes, bundies, no liner
    • Hair in low pony with bow, bangs and pieces of hair slicked back.
    • No jewelry
  • ALL Fridays (unless it’s a school wide dress up day or the last day of school) - Wear Uniform to school 
    • Shell, skirt, white socks and white shoes, bundies, no liner until it gets cold
    • Hair in low pony with bow, bangs and pieces of hair slicked back.
    • No jewelry
    • If you are participating in a sport, you will wear your uniform in the morning and change into your sports uniform at lunch. The only exception to this is if your sport has an all day meet/tournament. (i.e. track in the spring)

Practices:

  • All squads will practice every Wednesday starting at 3:00 and will meet at the cafeteria.
  • Our first practice will be on Wednesday, August 19th.
  • Game Squad: Practice will always be from 3:00-4:00pm and will end Wednesday, January 20th.
  • Comp Cheer and Pep practices: may run longer and that information will be sent home ahead of time. Comp and pep will practice until their competition dates.
  • Please make sure that your cheerleader arrives to practice on time. Tardies are recorded. 
  • Students cannot stay after school on Wednesdays to wait for cheer and should not be on campus until 10 minutes before practice.
  • Please be on time to pick your cheerleader up. Pick-ups are in the solar panel parking lot ONLY.
  • Cheerleaders must wear appropriate practice attire to every practice. If a cheerleader is in jeans, crocs, etc. they will not be allowed to practice for safety reasons. Hair must also be pulled back in a secure ponytail without any pieces of hair in their face.

 

All event times are given to the coaches a week or so before the event. All times will be announced on Parent Square when they become available. These performances are mandatory.

  • Saturday, August 29th - Football Carnival at Lamonica Stadium 
  • Friday, October 9th - Pink Out Football Game/Performance at Lamonica
  • Wednesday, January 20th - Spirit Night at Clovis East High School East Gym 
  • Game Squad: Cheerleaders who are not participating in a fall or winter sport will be expected to cheer at home football games and basketball games.
  • Comp Cheer and Pep Squads: We will be competing at one or two of the following competitions (we will decide as we get closer) 
    • Saturday January, 30th: Clovis High Pep Classic
    • Saturday, February 6th: Clovis West Showcase
